(MARTINSVILLE) - The Bedford North Lawrence High School Marching Stars placed first in Class AA Saturday in competition at Martinsville High School.
In addition, the Marching Stars color guard captured the honor for best color guard in its class and overall. The BNL band also won caption awards for best percussion, best music and best general effect.
BNL's next contest will be Saturday at Hamilton Southeastern High School.
