(BEDFORD) - Organizers of the Bedford North Lawrence High School homecoming parade want folks to begin thinking about entries for the event.
The parade is at 6 p.m. on Sept. 21. The themes are "Bringing Home the Spirit" and "Superheroes." It begins at M and 15th streets and has the same route as the Christmas parade.
Entries can include floats, marching units and vehicles decorated with school pride. No animals or candy-throwing is allowed. The entry fee is $5 for students and/or schools and $10 for any other community entries.
Prizes will be awarded.
Turn in entry forms by Sept. 14 to 595 Stars Blvd., Bedford, IN 47421, Attn: Beth Felts/Ashlie Kimmel; fill it out online at http://nlcc.nlcs.k12.in.us and email it to feltsb@nlcs.k12 or kimmela@nlcs.k12.in.us.
