(NEEDMORE) - The first Bedford Blues and Brews festival outside Salt Creek Brewery in August generated more than $4,000 for Blue Star Connection, a charitable agency devoted to providing musical instruments and therapy to youngsters battling cancer and other serious challenges.
Thanks to Salt Creek Brewery's Brad Hawkins, Caroline and Don Johnson, parents of Sam and Sadie Johnson of Sad Sam Blues Jam, and all the kind-hearted volunteers who helped make the fest so successful.
