Bloomington Police Investigate Bomb Threat At CVS Pharmacy

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police are investigating a bomb threat that prompted the evacuation of about 15 customers and employees Friday night.

According to Bloomington Police Sgt. Ian Lovan an unidentified person called the CVS Pharmacy, at 2701 East Third Street at 5:11 p.m. reporting there was a bomb was in the store.

A bomb-sniffing K-9 from the IU Police Department assisted Bloomington police at the scene and searched for the reported bomb.

The K-9 checked the interior and exterior of the store and vehicles in the parking lot. No bomb was found.

The store was opened about two hours after the incident.
