Bloomington Woman Arrested After Kicking Officer

(OOLITIC) - A Bloomington woman was arrested after police were called to a home on Hall Avenue in Oolitic early Tuesday morning.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig, 34-year-old Jennifer Goff was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

When officers arrived at the home, Goff was upset because another resident would not give her, her car keys so she could leave.

Craig says alcohol was involved.

"During the investigation Ms. Goff became upset and bumped into one officer and then kicked another," Craig says.

She continued to resist officers as she being handcuffed.
