(BLOOMINGTON) - Police are searching for a man who robbed Peoples State Bank in Bloomington at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Bloomington Police Capt. Joe Qualters says the man is black, in his mid-30s with medium build and was wearing pants, boots and a gold or yellow jersey and a camouflage hat.

According to police the man walked into the bank, at 301 East Winslow Road, told the clerk had had a wapon and wanted money.

Police says the man never showed anyone the weapon.

After getting an undisclosed amount of money the man fled the bank.
