(ODON) - A truck pulling a concrete mixer overturned on Interstate 69 near Odon, Monday morning, injuring the truck’s passenger.
The Daviess County Sheriff's Department responded to the one-vehicle accident at 7:14 a.m. and found a Ford Econoline and a concrete mixer in the ditch along the southbound lanes of Interstate 69 at the 76.5 mile marker.
23-year-old Tyler Hensley of Muncie told Deputies that he had fallen asleep and when he woke up the truck was in the median and he overcorrected and the truck overturned in the ditch on the right side of the roadway on the passenger side.
Hensley was uninjured but his passenger, 42 year old Jamie Gibson had minor injuries and was taken to the Daviess Community Hospital for treatment.
