Last updated on Monday, August 19, 2013

(BEDFORD) - Three people were injured in a collision at the intersection of Ind. 37 and U.S. 50 West Saturday morning.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 40-year-old Kevin Prince of Bedford was traveling south on Ind. 37 and approaching the intersection of U.S. 50 West to make a right turn.

At the same time, 25-year-old Amanda Dilks of Orleans was on Ind. 37 and was turning left on U.S. 50 and told police she had the green arrow.

However, witnesses at the scene say the light was red.

Prince's 2001 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck collided with Dilks' 2003 Mazda.

Prince suffered pain to his knee, lower leg and foot. Dilks and her passenger, a toddler, both suffered chest pain.

Police cited Dilks for failure to yield to the right of way
