(WASHINGTON) - Students at Washington High School and Junior High were transferred to other facilities Monday afternoon as a precautionary measure.

School Superintendent Doctor Daniel Roach says the decision was made to after school officials found a threatening note.

The Washington Times-Herald reports the note indicated there was a bomb in the building that was set to explode.

High School students were moved to the Washington National Guard Armory while Junior High School students were sent to the North Elementary School Gymnasium.

Bomb-sniffing dogs found nothing in the building.
