(SHOALS) - A Shoals man was arrested after he was stopped for a traffic violation Saturday afternoon.
According to Martin County Police Sgt. Keith Keller, he was on routine patrol on West River Road when he stopped a black SUV on a traffic violation.
Keller then discovered the driver, 47-year-old Thomas Truelove was wanted on a Lawrence County warrant for theft.
Truelove was arrested without incident and taken to the Martin County Security Center where is he awaiting transportation back to Lawrence County.
