Three Arrested After Items Stolen From Police Car

(BARTHOLOMEW CO.) - Sometime between 11 p.m. Sunday, August 25 and 8:30 a.m. Monday, August 26 someone gained entry into an undercover Indiana State Police vehicle in Bartholomew County and stole a Glock Model 21, .45 caliber handgun, two additional, fully loaded magazines, and other law enforcement related items.

Since that time the Indiana State Police and law enforcement authorities in Bartholomew County have been investigating the theft.

Although formal charges have not yet been filed, three people have been arrested and are currently being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in connection with the theft.

The details of the arrests are net being released at this time as the investigation is still ongoing and the stolen items, including the handgun have not yet been recovered.

The three individuals being held in connection with the theft are 23-year-old Dustin Tays, 33-year-old Robert Remboske, and 25-year-old Ryan Melloh all of Columbus.
