Police Looking For Vandals That Toppled Tombstones At Harrodsburg Cemetery

Last updated on Thursday, August 29, 2013

(HARRODSBURG) - Vandals toppled more than 20 tombstones at Harrodsburg Clover Hill Cemetery Saturday night.

Police says vandals toppled the headstones, breaking some, damaged and destroyed flower arrangements and solar lights and other items placed on the gravesites.

A stonecutter who makes tombstones was at the cemetery this week re-setting what he could.

Police have no suspects in the case. Their only clue is that the vandals entered and left through a gate.

Families with loved ones buried in the private cemetery are collecting money to offer as a reward to anyone who comes forth with information that leads to those responsible.

Anyone with information about the vandalism can call the sheriff's department at 349-2780.
