Plans for Casa Brava Restaurant To Open Downtown

Last updated on Friday, August 30, 2013

(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Board of Zoning Appeals approved a parking plan that clears the way for a Casa Brava restaurant to locate downtown.

Socrates Montano, who owns a chain of the Mexican restaurants, plans to put a new eatery at 15th and I streets, across from the Lawrence County Security Center.

Montano plans to keep the current brick-and-limestone structure, which was most recently the Greystone Coffee House. He also plans to put an 800-square-foot addition onto the building to house the kitchen and other non-public areas. The parking area behind the building will be paved and stripped for parking.
