(BEDFORD) - To kick off the fall season, Orbit Futbol Club will be hosting Orbit Day on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wilson Park.

There will be small sided soccer games and a bounce house with slide and obstacle course from Celebrations for children to play in.

There will also be hot dogs, chips and water for those attending the event.

Orbit Futbol Club Recreation League Director Tony Brazzell says the event is to kick off registration for the fall league. Those interested in playing can register on line at or in person at Orbit Day on Saturday.

Also, a cleat swap will be taking place. So, bring in your old cleats and shin guards or browse the donated cleats.

Orbit Futbol Club is a volunteer not for profit organization and is always looking for volunteers. So if you are wanting to coach, a coaching clinic is held before each season for new and existing coaches.

Brazzel is also looking for team sponsors.

"We have two options - one you just buy the team jerseys at $125 per season or the $200 option which will provide jerseys and the sponsor will have a 3 by 7 banner," Brazzel says.

Anyone interested in sponsoring a team can call Brazzel at 278-0616.
