(ORANGE CO.) - At 9 a.m. September 14 at the Valley Links Golf Club Orange County Chothe-A-Child will host its annual golf scramble.
The fee to enter is $40 per golfer.
Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.
Bedford Ford is sponsoring a hole-in-one contest. If someone makes the shot they will win a two year lease on a Ford Focus.
Anyone interested in playing in the golf scramble can contact Bill Fullington, Josh Bobcock or Garland Malone at 723-2417.
Hole sponsorships are available for $100 per hole. Any local business wanting to sponsor a hole will have their names prominently displayed on the hole.
Orange County Clothe-A-Child uses the funds to purchase clothing for more than 100 Orange County children each holiday season. The organization has been helping local youth for more than 25 years and has purchased clothing for more than 2,000 during that time frame. Orange County Clothe-A-Child is represented by members of all the local law enforcement agencies.
