(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell School board will conduct a public hearing on the budget at 6 p.m. Aug. 26 in the administration building.
Final adoption is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sept. 9 in the administration building.
Mitchell school board officials agreed to advertise a total budget of $19,953,438 for next year. That's down from $20,258,716 advertised for this year.
Superintendent Steve Phillips told the board the final budget will likely be even less once the process is finished.
