Last updated on Monday, August 19, 2013

(ATLANTA, Ga.) - A missing Brown County High School student was found safe in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Brown County Democrat reports that 16-year-old Abby Brock was found Saturday morning she was reunited with her father just before 1 p.m.

According to a family member Brock was with her boyfriend. An Alanta police officer found the vehicle they were in along the side of the road and ran the license plate and learned the vehicle was connected with the missing teen.

Brock, daughter of Brown County resident Susan Fish and Johnson County resident Ronald Brock, was reported missing Aug. 8. Her father had gone to school to pick her up for a doctor's appointment and learned that she was not there. He told police he had seen her board the school bus that morning.

Brock says his daughter's 19-year-old boyfriend had been seen in the high school parking lot that morning, driving a dark green 2003 Jeep Cherokee.
