(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police arrested 19-year-old Collin Weddell early Saturday morning after police say he stripped naked and was chasing and yelling at motorist at East Third Street and South College Mall Road.
Weddell was charged with public nudity, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.
Police say Weddell was high on LSD.
Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Dana Cole says all Weddell was wearing was a pair of shorts and he was foaming at the mouth.
Coles says Weddell would not cooperate with police. When police attempted to stop him, he stripped off his shorts and returned to chasing the vehicle.
Officers had to tackle Weddell to the ground and he was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for a mental evaluation.
While at the hospital, Weddell told officers he was under the influence of LSD. After being released from the hospital, he was taken to the Monroe County Jail.
