(LOOGOOTEE) - A Loogootee man was arrested after a disturbance at Shaded Estates.
Martin County Police Sgt. Keith Keller was called to Shaded Estates Saturday at 6:33 a.m. after a report of a disturbance.
When he arrived he learned 25-year-old Mark Payne, of Loogootee, had left and was at a home in the 300 block of Riley Street.
Payne was arrested and charged with battery.
Payne was taken to the Martin County Security Center and is being held on a $50,000 bond or 10 percent security.
Keller was assisted by Loogootee Police Officer Steve Nolan.
