(BLOOMINGTON) - Former Indiana Congressman Lee Hamilton has some harsh words for lawmakers on Capitol Hill.
Hamilton says the art of compromise is gone.
He says the budget process is a mess and Congress' public approval ratings are at an all-time low.
Hamilton currently works as director of the Center on Congress at Indiana University in Bloomington.
He was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for 34 years.
