Bedford Woman Suffers Minor Injuries In Rear-End Collision

(MITCHELL) - One person was injured in a rear-end collision on Ind. 37 near Gun Smith Road in Mitchell Thursday.

According to a Lawrence County Police reports, 49-year-old Mary Stockton, of 2827 Broadview Drive, was stopped in construction in the northbound lane of Ind. 37 near the Holiday Drive-In when her 2006 Ford Freestyle was hit in the rear by a 2000 Kia driven by 55-year-old Tammy Tolbert, of Orleans. Tolbert's vehicle had been rear-ended by a 1996 Ford Explorer driven by 17-year-old Amy Burton, of Orleans.

Burton told police she didn't see the vehicles stop in front of her causing her to rear-end Tolbert's Explorer which then rear-ended Stockton's vehicle.

Stockton complained of should pain. The other driver were not injured.
