Bedford Man Suffers Minor Injuries In Collision

(BEDFORD) - 73-year-old John Denny suffered minor bleeding to his elbow and lower arm in a two-vehicle accident Saturday at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

According to a Bedford Police report, a 2003 GMC Envoy driven by 57-year-old Donette K. Stancombe, of 941 Heltonville Road East was traveling east on Fifth Street and was stopped for the traffic signal and was waiting for the light to turn green when Denny, of 320 Heltonville Road, who driving a 2003 Suzuki XL-7 Grand Vitar took his prosthesis foot from the accelerator and couldn't locate the brake pedal and crashed into the rear of Stancombe's vehicle.
