Last updated on Monday, August 12, 2013

(BEDFORD) - Aunt Kate’s Consignment is working with Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services to sponsor an Englewood Market Day event Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The activity will take place at the store's location, 2811 Washington Ave.

The event will feature local artists and folk artists, a rummage sale, food, drinks, baked goods and "deals and steals of the day" from the Aunt Kate's consignment shop.

Booth space is available for $20. All proceeds from booth rental will benefit Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services. Vendors will retain the profits from their sales. Vendors must supply their own tables and cash drawers.

More information is available by calling call 277-1815 or visiting Aunt Kate's on Facebook.

The mission of Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services is to assist local cancer patients if insurance or another source of funding is not available. Areas of assistance include food supplements, transportation to treatment or physicians, medical supplies and medical equipment.
