Last updated on Tuesday, August 27, 2013

(NASHVILLE) - A bank account has been set up at People’s State Bank in Nashville for Jacob Quackenbush, the Brown County High School soccer player who collapsed during practice Wednesday, Aug. 21.

The Democrat's news-gathering partner, WISH-TV 8, reported that the 15-year-old sophomore was listed as in critical condition Thursday.

Brown County High School Principal Shane Killinger said he was taken from Columbus Regional Hospital to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

Donations made to the account will go to cover medical and travel expenses for the family, the bank reports.
