(BLOOMINGTON) - A woman was injured Saturday night at East Ninth and North Walnut streets when she was hit by a taxi.
According to Bloomington police Sgt. Lucas Tate, a 43-year-old woman was in a crosswalk walking south when a cab traveling west on East Ninth Street hit her.
Tate says, the cab driver, a 49-year-old man, did not see the woman because of glare from the sun.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was treated and was released from the hospital.
