Last updated on Wednesday, July 24, 2013

(BLOOMFIELD) - Two men were injured after a head-on collision on State Road 54 in Bloomfield Saturday.

According to Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Jeffery Brown , 33-year-old Jason Calendine, of Somerset, Ohio driving a 2003 Lincoln Town Car crossed the center line and collided with 19-year-old Blake Crowe's 2000 Dodge Intrepid.

Crowe, of Bloomfield, suffered head and face lacerations and was taken by ambulance to IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Calendine suffered lacerations to his lower leg and complained of head and neck pain but refused to be taken to the hospital.

Calendine told police he couldn't remember what happened, but he believes he may have hydroplaned on the wet roadway.

Assisting at the scene was the Center Township Fire Department and GCSD Deputy Bobby Pierce.
