Two Bid For Democratic Party Nomination In Washington County Sheriff's Race

(WASHINGTON CO.) - Two people have thrown their hats in for the Democratic Party nomination of the Washington County Sheriff’s Race.

The next primary election will take place in May 6, 2014.

Roger Newlon, longtime captain of the sheriff's department, and Mayor David Bower will seeking the Democratic nomination. Bower has served as Mayor for two terms.
