Touchstone Energy Free Concerts In Historic Congress Square In Orleans

(ORLEANS) - Come out to the Touchstone Energy Concert in the Park in Historic Congress Square Saturday to hear Kentucky Blue.

The concert is free to attend and begins at 7 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and have a picnic and enjoy the music.

The concert is sponsored by Orange County REMC and the Orleans Chamber of Commerce.

Kentucky Blue is a bluegrass band with more than 20 years experience. You will be entertained with amazing vocals, harmonies and downhome bluegrass. The band consist of banjo, Dobro, guitar and stand-up bass. The band has traveled all over the world including Japan and Germany and have played for presidents.

In the event of inclement weather, concerts may be slightly delayed, cancelled or moved indoors to the nearby Orleans Christian Church, Unity Hall.

The following is a schedule of free concerts:

July 13-"Kentucky Blue"

July 20-Crawford Co. Community Band

July 27-"Ladies for Liberty" (Red, White & Blue night)

Aug. 3-Sweet Water Band

Aug. 17-"Tobin & Friends"
