(TUNNELTON) - A Bedford couple suffered minor injuries after they were involved in a crash on Tunnelton Road Sunday.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 19-year-old Diamond Skeen, of Oolitic was traveling north on Tunnelton Road at a high rate of speed when she lost control of her 2001 Pontiac. The vehicle went left of the center line and hit a 2001 Ford F-250 driven by 56-year-old Anthony Wray.

Police say Wray complained of shoulder pain from the seat belt and his wife 56-year-old Amy Wray suffered pain to her left arm. Both refused medical attention.

Skeen had seven passengers in her vehicle. They included two children under the age of 8-years-old and that were not wearing their seatbelts and 24-year-old Megan Frye, of Bloomington.

The children were not injured, but Frye complained of hip, back and face pain. She was taken to IU Health Hospital for treatment.

Skeen was issued two children seat belt violations for not having the children in seatbelts.
