(OOLITIC) - Oolitic Deputy Marshal Bill Allen arrested a 17-year-old male Monday night after police discovered he had broke into a the home of a 92-year-old woman while she slept.
Allen says the teen stole several items from the home in the 700 block of Walnut Street. Allen was quickly able to determine who had committed the burglary.
The teen was charged with felony theft and taken to the Jackson County Detention Center.
The same teen was arrested a year ago after breaking into 17 vehicles in Oolitic.
