(UNDATED) - Facebook followers of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources can “talk” online about coal mining in Indiana with a DNR mining expert on Wednesday, July 17, from 2 to 3 p.m. on the DNR’s Facebook wall.
Jack McGriffin, project coordinator for the DNR Division of Reclamation, will talk about Indiana's role in the coal mining industry and how the Division of Reclamation oversees mining and the restoration of former mines. Participants are invited to join the conversation and ask questions.
