Sweet Water Band Performs Saturday In Olreans Historic Congress Square

(ORLEANS) - Saturday nights continue to heat up in downtown Orleans as the Orleans Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Touchstone Energy/ Orange County REMC presents another summer of Concerts in the Park.

Sweet Water will perform Saturday, in historic Congress Square.

The band plays a wide variety of cover tunes including: Contemporary-New-Traditional Country; Classic Rock; and Old Tyme Rock & Roll. Their diversity and passion for music are as deep as their Southern Indiana roots. The band consists of Don Clark on Bass, Danny Metzger on Drums, with "Special Guest" Appearances on Steel Guitar and John Guillaume on Lead Guitar and Vocals.

The free concert will begin at 7 p.m. (local time) in the southwest corner area of Congress Square.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs or blankets, as seating in the park is limited.

*Special Note: In the event of rain the concert will moved indoors to the nearby Orleans Christian Church Unity Hall.

On August 17 Tobin & Friends will perform.
