Snakehead Ed At Bedford Public Library Tuesday

Last updated on Monday, July 15, 2013

(BEDFORD) - Snakehead Ed and his snakes return to the library on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

This program features a 12-foot long albino boa constrictor that requires four adults to hold it up in a straight line. Families are invited to this presentation.

July 17 brings "Quick Science Fun: Musical Science" at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. in children services. Ages up to 7 can enjoy pirates at 3 p.m. on July 18 in the program room.

Then from 4-6 p.m., Collegiate Thursday presents "Paying for College." Teenagers can discuss financial aid and scholarships with a college financial aid representative. Food and prizes are provided at this session, the last of Collegiate Thursdays.

It is not too late to sign-up for and complete the summer reading program. Four hours of reading can result in prizes and a ticket to the C.R. Ryan Magic Show on July 25 at the Parkview Intermediate gym.

The C.R. Ryan Magic Show, provided by an Indianapolis-based magician, is appropriate for all ages. Children must be accompanied by parents. Parents do not need a ticket to attend the show.
