(SEYMOUR) - A Seymour man has been charged with felony theft in the recent disappearance of a Bartholomew County church’s air-conditioning units.
A probable cause affidavit filed in Bartholomew County Circuit Court indicated that Joseph M. Ault, 34, removed air conditioner coils from Ogilville United Methodist Church on July 9 and 12.
Loss of the air-conditioning units left the congregation scrambling to stay cool with outdoor temperatures hovering around the 90-degree mark this past week.
