(BEDFORD) - North Lawrence school board members voted unanimously Thursday night to fire Parkview Primary first-grade teacher Endris.
Superintendent Gary Conner recommended her termination after her arrest on June 11.
On June 13 the board accepted Conner's recommendations and placed Endris on administrative leave.
Endris is facing charges of possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to deal, possession of meth, two counts of possessing a schedule IV controlled substance and trafficking with an inmate.
