Last updated on Monday, July 15, 2013

(SALEM) - A Salem woman was arrested on felony charges after her boyfriend Mike Baker was found by Monstinger Road wearing only pajama pants and covered with blood.

Baker had wounds on the back of his head, wrists and cuts on his arms. Baker was treated at St. Vincent Salem Hospital.

The Leader Democrat reports, police arrested 43-year-old Terri Clements with battery with a deadly weapon and battery causing serious bodily injury and invasion of privacy.

Baker told police that he and Clements were talking about the Bible and that is when she began swinging a knife. The cut on the back of his head was to avoid a slash to the face.

When officers interviewed Clements and a friend, both told the same story.

The altercation happened in the home of Clement's brother where both Baker and she were staying.

Clements' brother told police he came home from camping to find drug-related items in his home and a large butcher knife missing.

Baker did have a protective order against Clements.
