(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell woman was injured after her vehicle was hit in the rear in the construction zone on Ind. 37 Thursday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 67-year-old Carolyn Harris, of Mitchell was in the northbound lane on Ind. 37 and had stopped at the light at Ind. 37 and Ind. 54 when her 2006 Chevrolet Uplander was hit in the rear by a 2008 Chrysler driven by 66-year-old Elizabeth Mann, of Mitchell.
Mann told police she didn't notice that the light had turned red and couldn't stop in time to avoid the crash.
Mann was not injured. Harris suffered head pain.
