Last updated on Tuesday, July 2, 2013

(BEDFORD) - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Bedford.

Mathew S. Frazier, 28, 2407 M St., suffered minor bleeding to his arm after he was thrown from the moped he was operating near F and 21st streets, according to an accident report issued by the Bedford Police Department.

The report doesn't mention whether or not an ambulance responded, or if Frazier was treated for his injuries.

Frazier told Bedford officers that he was traveling north on F Street when he topped a hill and saw a vehicle turning left. Frazier attempted to use the brakes quickly, which threw him from the machine. He hit the pavement, causing his injuries. The moped slid on the road, causing damage to it. The accident happened at 11:28 a.m.
