Man Arrested After Assault, Theft and Holding Man Captive

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man told police he went to a man’s southside apartment to get a tattoo.

The Herald Times reports, instead, the man reported the tattoo artist punched him in the head, robbed him of $100, threatened to kill him if he left and kept him there for hours.

Lewis Robert "Robbie" Siegrist, 40, 2366 S. Henderson St., was booked into the Monroe County Jail at 2:44 p.m. Friday on preliminary felony charges of robbery, confinement and intimidation and on a preliminary misdemeanor charge of battery.

His bond was set at $40,000 surety, $750 cash, but is on a hold for the probation department.
