Man And Horse Injured In Collision

(JUDAH) - A Bedford man and a horse were injured after a rear-end collision at the intersection of Ingram Road and Ind. 37 Saturday.

According to an Indiana State Police report, 64-year-old Harold York, of Symnosia, KY. who was driving a 2012 Dodge truck and pulling a horse trailer was making a left turn from Ingram Road onto southbound Ind. 37 when 22-year-old Charles Pursell failed to notice the slowed vehicle and collided his 2000 Suzuki SUV into the rear of the trailer.

Pursell, of 520 V St. suffered cuts and bruises to his head, face, arms and chest. He refused medical treatment at the scene.

York was not injured. The horse in the trailer was injured, but the extents of those injuries were unknown at the time the police report was filed.
