When officers arrived the found the woman and she told police that Brinkman and her had been in his vehicle and arguing.

"They were in the process of parting ways because he had other interests," says Parsley. "The two were arguing and he had threatened to push her out of the vehicle while it was moving. He stopped the vehicle between Fourth and Fifth Street, went to the passenger side opened the door and pulled her out of the vehicle by her head. The woman landed on the pavement head first."

The woman refused medical treatment at the scene.

Parsley says officers took statements from witnesses who saw the incident and the woman signed a battery affidavit.
