(MITCHELL) - Starting Today, Hancock Avenue and 12th Street in Mitchell will be closed to through traffic during sidewalk construction.
The closures will take place only while crews are working.
The streets had remained open. But city officials decided to close the streets during construction because of the speed of cars traveling through the construction zones.
Residents in the construction area will still be able to get to their properties.
