The Greene County Daily World reported, when police arrived at Crowell's apartment she told police her daughter had possibly consumed alcohol or drugs at another Linton home.

Crowell was irate and verbally abusive toward officers and paramedics who were evaluating the girl, who taken to the Greene County Hospital for treatment.

Before leaving the apartment officer warned Crowell about her behavior. Because of her conduct paramedics refused to let her ride in the ambulance with her daughter.

When Officers gave Crowell a warning about disorderly conduct and the paramedics refused to Crowell arrived at the hospital, officers again warned her they would not tolerate unruly behavior. But Crowell did not heed the warning and started shouting.

Crowell was arrested and as she was being escorted out of the hospital she kicked an offier in the leg. And that is when officers placed her in shackles. Crowell was charged with battery with bodily injury to a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Investigating LPD Officers Brock Garrison and Mike Harroll, with assistance from three other officers, are continuing to look into the information that the juvenile had been consuming alcohol at another Linton home.
