(BEDFORD) - The Limestone 5K Alumni Run and Walk is set for its 38th annual running Saturday. The race kicks off Alumni Days.
Race director Jim Sowders says there are still openings for teams of four to compete. The race starts off at the corner of 19th street and Brian Lane Way and heads up 19th street to Washington Avenue, then down 27th street to Eastern Avenue over to 29th street before coming back down Washington and 19th and finishing at the Parkview track.
Free kids races will begin immediately following the 5K at the Parkview track.
Online registration is available at the Mag 7 racing series site and continues through Friday.
Registration forms can also be obtained at the Boys and Girls Club and at Sowders office on O street. Race-day registration will be conducted from 6:30 a.m. through 7:45 a.m. on site.
All money raised will go to support the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County.
