(OOLITIC) - Ashan W. Twymon suffered neck pain and Albert D. Harshman suffered minor bleeding to his arm following a two vehicle collision Monday morning on State Road 37 in Oolitic.
Rosanna E. Harshman, 81, Worthington, was driving a 2003 Ford Taurus SE, with Albert Harshman, 83, as a passenger, at 10:31 a.m. She was in the left turn lane on State Road 37 South, waiting to turn east onto Main Street in Oolitic, according to a Lawrence County Police Department accident report.
At that same time, Twymon, 36, Orleans, was driving north on State Road 37 approaching the intersection at Main Street, the document stated.
Rosanna "failed to obey the automatic turn signal at the intersection and proceeded east through the intersection," the report reads. "(Twymon's vehicle) struck (Rosanna's vehicle) on the passenger side of the vehicle."
After the wreck, Twymon suffered neck pain from the accident and Albert Harshman's arm started bleeding, according to the document.
An Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital ambulance came to the scene and treated both Twymon and Albert Harshman.
