(GREENE CO.) -The Indiana Department of Transportation is announcing that beginning on or after Monday, August 5, County Road 1260 East in Greene County will close for construction of the new Interstate 69 Corridor.
C.R. 1260E will close between S.R. 54 and C.R. 190 (West Rock East Road) for an undetermined amount of time as contractor's crews move dirt as a part of the I-69 construction.
No through vehicle traffic will be allowed on C.R. 1260E in this area; however local residents will have access to the point of closure.
INDOT encourages motorists to slow down and pay special attention while traveling in work zones throughout Indiana.
