(BLOOMFIELD) - Greene County Prosecutor Jarrod Holtsclaw has been appointed as chairman of the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council (IPAC).

The Greene County Daily World reports, at a recent meeting of the general membership, members of IPAC selected Holtsclaw to serve as chairman for 2013-14.

IPAC also serves as a liaison to local, state and federal agencies, study commissions and community groups in an effort to support law enforcement and promote the fair administration of justice.

IPAC is governed by a 10-member Board of Directors chosen from among the state's prosecuting attorneys.

In addition to Holtsclaw's appointment, Washington County Prosecutor Dustin Houchin was appointed to serve as the organization's Vice-Chairman, and Wabash County Prosecutor William Hartley, Jr. was appointed to serve as the Secretary/Treasurer.
