Daviess County 4-H Fair Is July 10-19

(WASHINGTON) - The Daviess County 4-H Fair kicks off Wednesday at the fairgrounds in Eastside Park in Washington and runs till July 19.

Events kick off with the dog agility competition at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Then on Thursday is the fashion review at 7 p.m. at the Antioch Christian Church. Monday is the start of the livestock shows with poultry judging at 2 p.m. followed by the sheep show. The exhibit buildings will also open Monday.

Tuesday will feature the alpaca and llama show at 9 a.m. followed by the dairy cattle show at 1 p.m. and the beef judging at 7 p.m.

This year 14 - 10-year 4-Hers - will be honored during the final night of the fair. They are Rachel Chattin, Hilary Fields, Nick Fisher, Myia Hart, Ellie Jarrett, Andra Lane, Jenna McCracken, Kayla mercer, lane Miller, Jorrin Nolan, Miranda Ryan,, Hannah Smith, Emilee Wener and Cari Jo Wilson.
