(BLOOMFIELD) - A child molester is back behind bars after he allegedly failed to register as a sex offender.
The Greene County Daily World reports, 31-year-old Christopher Levi Clouse, was convicted of child molesting in 2011 and was sentenced to prison.
He was released from the New Castle Correctional Facility April 19, and is required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Clouse was convicted of child molesting after he inappropriately touched a child in late December 2010. He accepted a negotiated plea agreement he was sentenced to seven years in prison.
Following his release he did report to the Greene County Sheriff's Department to register but failed to complete the registration form and didn't verify his address.
Clouse told officials he could not live in Jasonville so he could not fill in an address where he was staying. He planned to stay with a friend in Dugger.
However Clouse never completed the form and failed to keep a scheduled appointment with his probation officer.
Clouse was arrested in Bloomington and told police he was homeless.
Clouse is charged with failing to register as a sex offender and a petition to revoke his probation on the child molesting conviction.
