Clean Up Continues At Crash Site At Ind. 37 And Vernal Pike

Last updated on Tuesday, July 16, 2013

(BLOOMINGTON) - Environmental cleanup continues this morning from Sunday night’s crash at Ind. 37 and Vernal Pike.

The Indiana Department of Transportation have arrow boards in place, directing traffic flow as motorists approach the intersection in the northbound lanes.

The lane restrictions have caused slight backups in traffic flow.

Motorists are reminded that arrow boards set in place by INDOT become the authorized traffic pattern. Disregarding or driving around these traffic direction signs can result in enforcement action and a citation being issued. Drivers are encouraged to use caution as they approach the intersection.

There has been no timeline given as to when the lane restrictions will be lifted.
